Prophets Named in the Quran
Kalimullah, the one to whom Allah spoke. He led the Children of Israel out of Egypt.
Born when Pharaoh was killing the sons of the Children of Israel, the infant Musa was placed in a basket on the river and raised in Pharaoh's own palace. After fleeing to Madyan, he was called to prophethood at the blessed valley of Tuwa, where Allah spoke to him directly.
With his brother Harun, he confronted Pharaoh with clear signs. The Children of Israel were led out of Egypt, the sea was parted, and Pharaoh drowned. Musa received the Tawrah, and he is the prophet mentioned by name most often in the Quran.
