Prophets Named in the Quran
Brother and helper of Musa, sent with him to Pharaoh.
When Musa was commanded to go to Pharaoh, he asked Allah to make his brother Harun his helper, because Harun was more eloquent in speech. Allah granted the request, and the two brothers went together to call Pharaoh to the truth.
While Musa was away on the mountain, the Samiri led some of the Children of Israel into worshipping a golden calf. Harun tried to stop them, warning that they were being tested. The Prophet ﷺ later told 'Ali: 'You are to me as Harun was to Musa, except that there is no prophet after me.'
